My horoscope this week - had to post this...
While walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood, I saw a huge red wooden chair on someone’s front lawn. It was big enough for a 20-foot-tall giant. An equally oversized martini glass was perched on the arm of the chair. Nearby was a sign that read, “I have flying monkeys at my command, and I’m not afraid to use them.” I assumed this scene was the handiwork of an adorable crazy...
Its Turkey Day here tomorrow...
my favourite holiday in the US. It’s lots of fun. Mostly, the cliches are true…turkey and pumpkin pie (don’t even think about changing the menu - death stares), and family and friends giving thanks around a table, then watch football (gridiron of course, but they don’t call it that here), eat more, drink more, argue, laugh and eat leftover turkey for days. And forgive me...

but so great…had a long lost and favourite friend contact me out of the blue the other day, we did what all great friends do and picked up where we left off. Missed her.
A lot going on
tops friends in town staying with other friends = lots of fun (and late) nights. Good food…. at luxembourg (tick), craft (lesser tick), vinegar hill (always a tick), freemans brunch (grits & poached eggs + bloody marys, tick & tick), also walked High Line (super plus tick), stopped for tapas & sangria……and we sang (!) at new favourite - Don’t tell Mama - singing...
